00169 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel supply heater, control circuit high and wait then 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00169 Possible Causes:
00169 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00169 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
