00168 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off or change intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
00168 Possible Causes:
00168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00168 Code
- Inspect all the connections actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
