Staring in engine post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), electrical malfunction or fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00167 Possible Causes:
00167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00167 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
