00165 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so kick down switch malfunction you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00165 Possible Causes:
00165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00165 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch (f189), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
