This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit you can see the exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak will delay your vw fault. |
00163 Possible Causes:
00163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00163 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
