This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit . So for next camshaft position signal output, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
00160 Possible Causes:
00160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00160 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
