This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small . So for next turbocharger control module 2, implausible message is the final reason of the code. |

00157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit
