This code were stamped on VW Engine case clutch temperature, control retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent or supply voltage for fuel injector group a, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00157 Possible Causes:
00157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00157 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
