Diagnosing engine bar with evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance and idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
00157 Possible Causes:
00157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00157 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
