The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction or nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
00156 Possible Causes:
00156 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00156 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
