When you open turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low or change exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
00149 Possible Causes:
00149 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00149 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c clutch relay, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
