The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached and injector control pressure sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00146 Possible Causes:
00146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00146 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
