00146 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction or exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly rich will delay your vw fault. |
00146 Possible Causes:
00146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00146 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
