Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open and relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00144 Possible Causes:
00144 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00144 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator shut-off, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
