00143 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing camshaft position signal output, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance also nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00143 Possible Causes:
00143 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 00143 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
