Diagnosing engine bar with brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance you can see the a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00140 Possible Causes:
00140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00140 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
