00124 Possible Causes:
00124 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00124 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
