Staring in engine throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel mode indicator lamp control, circuit and wait then valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
00123 Possible Causes:
00123 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 00123 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
