Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high and valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), circuit low input is the final reason of the code. |
00117 Possible Causes:
00117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00117 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
