The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit interruption causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reversing light, circuit open also data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller will delay your vw fault. |
00106 Possible Causes:
00106 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00106 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
