00102 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal or change diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
00102 Possible Causes:
00102 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00102 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
