This something to do with the intake camshaft timing starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance . On the other hand valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
00100 Possible Causes:
00100 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 00100 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
