The problem is about barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit and wait then transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
00098 Possible Causes:
00098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 00098 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure regulator, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
