00097 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low or change 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
00097 Possible Causes:
00097 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 00097 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
