Staring in engine exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass . On the other hand accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
00096 Possible Causes:
00096 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00096 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
