The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault torque management feedback signal "a" to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle actuator control system, sudden low air flow detected or change fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
00093 Possible Causes:
00093 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00093 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 10 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
