00091 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic or change o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
00091 Possible Causes:
00091 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00091 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
