00087 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 you can see the valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00087 Possible Causes:
00087 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00087 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
