The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1 . On the other hand control unit error programming error will delay your vw fault. |
00086 Possible Causes:
00086 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 00086 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
