The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault particulate trap bank 2, efficiency below threshold to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so park/neutral switch input circuit also exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00081 Possible Causes:
00081 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00081 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
