Staring in engine fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high also idle regulation lean operation: rpm too high is the final reason of the code. |
00074 Possible Causes:
00074 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00074 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
