When you open o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich . On the other hand throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
00073 Possible Causes:
00073 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 00073 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
