This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range it can suddenly lead to a significantly more tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00071 Possible Causes:
00071 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00071 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from steering wheel electronics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
