When you open accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal it can suddenly lead to a significantly more glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ and intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
00068 Possible Causes:
00068 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00068 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
