00068 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, lower limit not reached . So for next intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |

00068 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00068 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
