This code were stamped on VW Engine case drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start power supply, malfunction and exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 individual cylinder control, sensor dynamic too low is the final reason of the code. |
00066 Possible Causes:
00066 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00066 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
