00054 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injection pump, timing calibration not learned . On the other hand valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00054 Possible Causes:
00054 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00054 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
