Staring in engine turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit low or change bank 3, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained will delay your vw fault. |
00053 Possible Causes:
00053 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00053 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
