The problem is about interference in mechatronic module It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit or change please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor is the final reason of the code. |
00048 Possible Causes:
00048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00048 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, forced limited power
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
