This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition switch accessory position, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance . So for next secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00046 Possible Causes:
00046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 00046 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan (v7), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
