00045 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground and direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
00045 Possible Causes:
00045 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00045 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
