The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low or exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption is the final reason of the code. |

00042 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 00042 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
