00041 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off also secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
00041 Possible Causes:
00041 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00041 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
