Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit high or exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
00040 Possible Causes:
00040 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00040 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
