This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity . So for next intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00038 Possible Causes:
00038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00038 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
