Staring in engine intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance or change reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
00031 Possible Causes:
00031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00031 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
