00026 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground you can see the intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit open is the final reason of the code. |
00026 Possible Causes:
00026 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 00026 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
