The problem is about ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground . So for next kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
00024 Possible Causes:
00024 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 00024 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
