00024 Description And Summary : |

When you open power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to b+ and engine torque reduction, open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00024 Possible Causes:
00024 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00024 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
