The problem is about transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed turbocharger control module 1, implausible message or data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) will delay your vw fault. |
00023 Possible Causes:
00023 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00023 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
