00016 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open or change relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
00016 Possible Causes:
00016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 00016 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
