Accumulated in electronic control units so vehicle speed sensor 'a' / 'b', correlation mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground or change intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00016 Possible Causes:
00016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00016 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
