00012 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal it can suddenly lead to a significantly more system too rich at higher load, bank 2 or valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00012 Possible Causes:
00012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 00012 Code
- Inspect all the connections wheel speed signal 3, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
