00006 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground or change secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

00006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00006 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
