When you open evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high or change secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00004 Possible Causes:
00004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 00004 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
