The problem is about water in fuel sensor, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground . On the other hand load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
19404 Possible Causes:
19404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 19404 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
